This beautiful big girl is Aura and she has the most unusual and pretty markings of a tiger brindle, white and brown dappled, short, soft coat.

Beautiful Aura, is a Mastin cross and she is a very loyal, calm, loving dog.

Poor girl has had a rough experience of humans and sadly, due to her past life, it will take time for her to trust new people.

It would benefit her, if her new home had another dog in the household – so that’s what we are looking for. She gets on great with other dogs and she walks well on a lead but sometimes sudden noises or unexpected movement can frighten her, so we will be looking for a more rural home.

This lovely girl was living in a Spanish village in the mountains with 5 puppies, where she was beaten daily with a stick to chase her away. A large garden would really suit her as she loves being outdoors but she does sleep inside at night. She needs stability and an experienced dog person would really suit.

Aura’s best home would be an experienced owner, other dogs, no cats, somewhere rural and a big garden and no children under 14 yrs.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
