Bono a great family puppy

Sweet little black and white puppy boy, he is good with other dogs, playful and ignores the cats. He enjoys the company of small children, and loves the resident child in his foster home a dog savvy 7 year old. Indications are that he would be good with children who are properly educated about animals and parents who would supervise his initial introduction into the family.

He will be a medium sized boy and at the moment he measures 53cms from neck to base of tail, 45cms from floor to shoulder, 52cms around body, 35cms around neck.
We have no negative experiences with him, he is a great little all rounder !

Breed : Border Collie type
Age : 11 months

Bono was found wandering in a Spanish river bed after hunters had left him behind. He does not want to hunt, he is not a hunting dog and so they had no use for him. Rather than take him back with them, they left him to “survive” alone in the hills.

He found his way down to the river bed, and was found by a Spanish lady who was out walking with dogs she already has in foster care.

He was immediately happy to follow her and the dogs home, and is now living with other dogs and cats in his foster place.

Fosterer’s report :
Bono only arrived here two days ago and he’s the most lovable dog we ever had. He’s adorable! Easiest dog ever!

He loves the other dogs and the small children we have visiting and does not chase my cats !

For Dogs coming from Spain and Portugal
This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering, parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from Spain or Portugal to people who work, even part time. They need someone at home all day, they are not used to being alone, so even a couple of hours broken with a dog walker will be too much for them to cope with. They are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Adoption Fee : £ 225 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue for his travel costs
