Bruce and Crispin are two small older tan dogs that are best of mates and have always lived together so we are looking for a quiet home to take them as a pair.

These two adorable oldies have always been together and they need each other. Crispin, the small one, has a soft long coat, while Bruce, a bit bigger and older, is a small Pointer mix with floppy ears and a short coat. Both real sweeties!

Their former owner went to jail and as nobody in his family wanted to keep them, they found themselves at the pound in May this year. All their life they were well taken care of and loved, and we can tell they really miss having a home, a comfy bed, daily walks and above all, someone to love… and follow around for a treat!

Their details –

Crispin is a bit shy if he’s alone, but he’s not when Bruce is next to him. Bruce gives him confidence! They both love people.

They are very calm, affectionate dogs that don’t require much exercise, just a loving home to spend their autumn years together.

They are house-trained and used to living in a home.

They are sociable with all dogs, although Bruce can bark at other male dogs.

They walk very well on the lead, Crispin doesn’t pull at all and Bruce only a bit in the beginning.

Their Best Points :

Sociable with people and other dogs. House trained
Good on leads

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have bee vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
