Details of Clarence:

This handsome young lad is Clarence, our happy young Staffordshire lad who has a sleek black and white coat and has good bodily condition. We are waiting on more  photos which shows how lush and young he is.

Clarence has just been saved from the pound, and on the video it shows him so happy and going crazy to get out to freedom as he has spent 6 months without seeing proper daylight, now he is in private boarding experiencing fresh air and regular walkies and food.

Clarence is a regular size Stafford (standing at 43 cms) and he has a friendly disposition and gets on with other dogs. We are waiting on more photos showing him with other dogs.  Clarence is being assessed at the moment with his lead work and older children, and in general a very good boy. He has now been neutered and is not tested with cats yet but we can do this.
We are looking for another dog home or without, and children over 10 years old. He will make a loyal companion and great friend.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog:

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped

All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. This costs £17. If you would like us to arrange this for you, at a reduced rate of £7.20, we will ask you to do a bank transfer to allow us to register the change.

Homecheck:

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks.

The adoption fee is £250.00 for transport plus an adoption fee of £250.00 depending on the breed and age of the cat.  The fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK or Paypal and covers the cost of passport, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs/taxes from Spain to the UK.   There is now a deposit for all homechecks of £25 which is deducted from the adoption fee.

If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.

If application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.

All homechecks are now conducted virtually and will be undertaken via video call (using skype, zoom or equivalent).

We will need to meet ALL members of the family living at the address, including children.

Proof of ID and landlord permission is required

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas:

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
