This stunning, young man is Clyde, who is a Galgo x, with a honey, tiger, soft coat and white chest. What lovely markings and so unusual for a Galgo! He stands a majestic 75 cms tall.
Clyde is a large, friendly boy and is missing being in a home. Clyde was adopted when he was a little puppy, but came back because the owner was moving to a small apartment. Clyde is very friendly but needs some rules and training. He knows the basic commands. Sit before dinner etc.
He is good on a lead, loves his walks and cuddles and he can be strong but listens and responds quickly when you correct him.
This boy would need and love a large garden to play and run around. He can be good with other dogs, but he can be dominant and he loves females.
Clyde adores people, but sometimes he wants to know you a bit first. Very friendly when he knows you and loves his cuddles. He grew up with cats, but wants to chase them and play, he has never hurt them. He also grew up with children. Clyde is house trained.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
