This handsome boy is a black and white pointer cross youngster standing at 62 cms tall. Nice friendly young boy who likes children and other dogs,
Eddie just loves cuddles and wants to be a lap dog and he is clean in the house. He loves human company as you can see by the photos.
Breed :Pointer cross
Age : 18 months
He was found abandoned in the countryside in Spain, very hungry but not afraid to approach a house daily for food and water. He was taken into a great rescue centre in Spain but unfortunately he was being badly bullied by a smaller female dog and became very depressed and withdrawn. Local residents stepped in to foster him to get him out of the shelter, as he was really downtrodden in there and hes such a nice lad.
Unfortunately both of his foster families will soon no longer be able to keep him so they are desperate to find him a forever home so that he does not have to return to the shelter.
Fosterer’s report :
I have never known a dog to love humans so much !
He can get excited when you bring out his lead and jumps up, as many young dogs do, but we are correcting this, but he is good on the lead.
He gets on with other dogs but possibly not cats as he seems to want to chase them ! He is fine with children. He doesn’t like motorbikes.
He just loves humans and wants to cuddle up with you at any opportunity , he would love to be a lap dog !
He has a damaged back paw , possibly run over when he was a puppy, but it doesn’t bother him and he dosnt limp. We had our vet look at it and she was not concerned.

For Dogs coming from Spain
This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering, parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from Spain or Portugal to people who work, even part time. They need someone at home all day, they are not used to being alone, so even a couple of hours broken with a dog walker will be too much for them to cope with. They are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
Adoption Fee : £ 285 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
