Fenna is a pretty little girl, with a black and brown, short, shiny coat and shes very sociable with other dogs.

Fenna was abandoned at the gates of the rescue with her four puppies, which are now all homed in the UK.

Fenna is a friendly girl, when she knows you. She needs time to know you, as she isn’t happy with strangers. Fenna has a lot of energy, so we would like a large garden for her and owners that like to walk.
Fenna is good on the lead, and enjoys her walks but does like to chase rabbits like a sighthound so she would have to be trained on a extendible for a long time before being trusted to be let off.
Fenna shares her kennel with 3 other dogs, male and female, and she does like to be top dog and can be a bit bossy.
Poor girl is not used to giving cuddles and needing head rubs as its clear she has never been shown any love from humans, but she is getting better and is loving attention and will come for that but then she doesn’t know how to act. With the right owners, this trust and confidence will blossom so that she can be an affectionate girl. She’s found out that she likes to play with tennis balls – something else she’s never done in her life before coming to rescue. We think she will not like to be homed with children.

Her Best Points :

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
