Cutie Fito, is a petite tan and white Podenco lad, who is a super- friendly little boy. Poor Fito had been living with a Hunter, who decided he was no longer of any use to him. Thankfully, he handed him over to the rescue instead of just abandoning him.

He is very sweet and all he wants is cuddles and more cuddles, we don’t think he has ever had them before, now it’s none stop cuddles for him. Fito walks well on a lead, but would certainly benefit from more training.
He is good with other dogs and he is kennelled with a male and female, however he can get jealous at cuddle time, so we think he would like to live with another dog but his owner would need to be careful at first to monitor his jealousy, or of course, having his owner all to himself.
He just loves to run around and play with the other dogs. Fito really needs a home with people who will be there most of the time, he needs reassurance that the bad life he had is now in the past and it is now just the good life, none stop love, good food and plenty of cuddles.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
