Freda, pretty, small and friendly

FREDA

Pretty young Freda is a friendly small girl with a glossy Black and Tan coat, and she stands at 45 cms from floor to shoulder, and from back of neck to base of tail  45cms, and weighs 10 kilos
Freda is good with cats and other dogs.  She loves the resident little 8 years old “dog savvy” niece of her foster mum.
She walks well on a harness and lead, and is highly intelligent and is very quick to learn.
Breed : BODEGUERO ANDALUZ MIX
Age : 2 years

Freda was abandoned on the street and stones were being thrown at her. The daughter of her foster mum was in the Town at the time, and she patiently managed to convince Freda to come to her.

She brought Freda home, where she is now fostered

These dogs are bred and used in Spain in the Wine Bodegas, specifically in Jerez, to keep the rat populations down  where the Barrels are stored.

Fosterer’s report :
Lovely girl, no trouble and fits in here with all these dogs and cats very well

For Dogs coming from Spain
This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from Spain  to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
Adoption Fee : £235    – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
