This little chocolate stunner is Friend, who has a really nice rich brown coat with attractive white dappled chest.
Friend has many dogs in him we think, some say Collie, some say Podenco and some say Pointer – so we are calling him a mix breed.

Hes been named as Friend because he is such a a nice young lad and he is friendly with others dogs and he likes human company.
He is medium sized and his coat is short soft and silky.

He can easy live with another dog but not cats and not with young children, but over 12s only (use can be exuberant!) We think he would love a big garden to tear about in.

He doesn’t like to be left alone at home but he will be happy with owners who can spend time working and exercising him.
Should be perfect for an owner who works from home.

His Best Points :

His personality is very alert, energetic, intelligent and very affectionate.
He would be good at agility.

Foster Report :

He is extremely energetic, he needs vigorous exercise every day. For this reason,  this outgoing doggie is for an active owner!

Friend is a fun loving dog, sometimes little bit  possessive, for example with food. He likes my dogs here but I feed him separately.
He could be a wonderful companion for people who are willing to put in the time and dedication he needs. Would thrive on agility, flyball or Cani cross or something he can focus on.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have bee vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
