Hope is a beautiful Staffy girl who bounces with an energy for life she has a real loving personality shown by a tail that never stops wagging! She is so friendly she cannot contain her excitement when she greets you in the morning or on your return home. Initially licking you and jumping for sheer joy that you have come back to her, she will nibble at you trousers at the same time her bottom is wagging madly from side to side.

Her nature is to stick close to you and follow you around, but she understands go to bed when asked and will sleep through the night. There are no issues with leaving her alone when leaving the house for an acceptable period as she will sleep the time your away.

She loves to play so having plenty of toys are a must, she either entertains herself by chasing alone or loves a good toy tug of war with you.

Hope is fully house trained and will let you know if she requires a comfort break by going to the backdoor, equally she loves to go for a walk and overall walks well on an extendable lead and harness. She will pull if she picks up a scent or sees another dog approaching but is not confident around large dogs. Hope has not lived with other animals or lived around children, however Hope was in a foster home with older children when she first came to DogWatch.

Good points are her loyalty, friendly loving nature, always happy, walks well, clean and house trained, will accept being showered, eats anything, sleeps with one ear up and one eye open and will ask for love.

Overall she has come on so well after her terrible start and is a great companion that will love you endlessly asking nothing in return, easy to care for and a joy to have around. She just wants love. Hope will make a perfect companion for any family. Such a trusting easy going dog that just wants to please

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
