Dogwatchuk was asked to help them as they were stranded in Italy and about to be PTS.
They are all travelling over to the UK in August, so we are looking for loving homes for them now.
Here’s what we know –
Four lovely pups found in a very emaciated state, flea infested, and only weeks old..cruelly left to fend for themselves, no food or shelter.  These poor little Pups were eating dirt to survive and living behind the hedges of a very busy road.  The Mother was no longer with them, we suspect she was killed, whilst out scavenging for food.
So, they were rescued by a young Volunteer who couldn’t afford to pay kenneling so they went into a High Risk situation in a local pound. We collected them urgently to save them from a life of misery and danger, living on the streets or even worse to end their young lives in one of the notorious Pounds.
They are safe now,  enjoying a better diet and have been checked by the Vet…they have also been tested for Lieshmaniosis…and the test results are Negative – they are all healthy boys.
Not tested for cats or children, so we think another dog in the house would be good and children over 12 years

Best Points :

Four lovely Young Brothers approx 6 months old, they are very sweet, happy Pups.

Foster Report :

They show no sign of aggression, they have forgiven us completely and love HUMAN contact. We think they are possibly Dutch Shepherd cross type Dogs.  Of course they need more socialisation and training but they are very eager to please and very smart,  so will pick up good manners quickly…

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have bee vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
