Jodie a playful puppy

This pretty girl Jodie is a long haired black and brown German Shepherd mix and still very much a puppy! Jodie is 53cm in height from the shoulder and she weighs approx 18kg. She is the most adorable girl and very gentle, beautiful to look at. Loves humans and can’t get enough cuddles and attention. As you would expect she is a little mischievous due to her young age. She gets on well with other dogs and she does live with lots of cats, however she does like to chase them and torment them at times!! Jodie has been to the vet, she has no health issues that we are aware of.

Breed : Long Coat German Shepherd Dog cross
Age : 8 months

Jodie was found wandering in a petrol station near the Spanish rescue. She was extremely thin and emaciated. She was taken to one of the volunteers homes and has been receiving lots of love, care and attention.

She is ready to travel once her very special home is found – very special home as she is the most special girl and she is adored.
Jodie has not had the experience of living with children, so we are unsure as to how she would react, however, she is gentle and we don’t believe she has a bad bone in her body, but as we don’t know about small children we would look for a home with teenagers.

Fosterer’s report :
Shes a great puppy. She is learning recall and loves running with the other dogs and there is no grumbling at mealtimes she just shares with the others
She is very much a sweetie

For Dogs coming from Spain and Portugal
This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering, parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from Spain or Portugal to people who work, even part time. They need someone at home all day, they are not used to being alone, so even a couple of hours broken with a dog walker will be too much for them to cope with. They are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Adoption Fee : £ 285 – to be paid direct to the Spanish/Portuguese rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
