Beautiful young Manchas, with a short, soft, black and white coat is of medium to large build is a Pointer cross.  He has been with us such a short time, but already so friendly and happy to be with people.  He was picked up off the street, having been wandering around with 2 other dogs for some time.  He is very close to his friend Balu, who came in with him.  I discovered that he also likes to sing.  You talk to him in a silly voice and he will sing with you.  A real sweetheart, who deserves a loving family.

The lovely Balu is a Pinscher cross boy who is larger than a Pinscher.  Balu was taken from the street.  He’s still quite nervous but desperately wants to be friends and trust.   He loves Manchas and looks to him for confidence.  You would never believe he is 8 years old.  He likes attention and when he gains more confidence he will be a lovely addition to his new family.

Manchas and Balu are such good friends that they would like to find a new home together.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
