Sweet Oso is black, short-coated mixed breed boy aged 3 years old with a lovely personality. He really is the sweetest boy, as he loves attention and cuddles. He is good with the other dogs and playful. He is quite strong on the lead but he listens and takes notice of what you say, so just needs to start his training with a firm hand as he is really a very fast learner and wants to please his owner. He was tested with cats in a cat home and he completely ignored the cat, I think probably chased it to play but rather than just correcting Oso we saw him give up quickly, so it was just a quick unenthusic chase.  Oso appears to be housetrained as he never soils his kennel and looks forward to going out and to getting fuss and cuddles from his handler.

Oso was unfortunate that he came from the Lorca area, he was due to be handed over to the kill shelter but he has been saved and boarded in private kennels since then, now is the time for his new loving home.  He can live with children over 10 years too. If we get a foster place he can come to the foster in the UK in October, otherwise he is waiting for your call…..

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. This costs £17. If you would like us to arrange this for you, at a reduced rate of £7.20, we will ask you to do a bank transfer to allow us to register the change.

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
