Urgent Pound dogs on death row

Remember me this time of year
In this pound with death so near
Not in a home where I should be
Loving others who love me

I am so sorry to beg and plead
To make you aware of my need
But if I do not desperately try
After 7 days I'll probably die

Alone inside and terribly confused
Lost, abandoned or abused
Do I deserve this terrible fate?
Help me please before its too late!

My days in this pound are flying by
My eighth day here I could die!
Put to sleep without a name!
Because no one cared and no one came!

I want to love, I want to live,
I want to play, I want to give,
I want to be in a loving home
I want a name and to be known

Often healthy I have to ask why
Is no one saying we shouldn't die?
It seems to me a shameful waste
My life destroyed in such haste

I do not want my last day to be
Held by a stranger injecting me
I have no say, I have no voice
Only you can make that choice

When the needle of death is in my leg
I have lost my chance to plead and beg
Lost my hope to tell you why
It's so wrong to let me die.

So finally here is my desperate plea
won't you please consider me?
If no one comes it will be too late
I can be saved if you choose to DONATE

know its the 'credit crunch' and funds are tight but we currently have a very very ill dog in the rescue who is close to dying (another case of a young dog being bred too much which has nearly killed her). Her vets bills so far are £680 and we only have £180 in the rescue's account. She has been in the vets for 2 days and is likely to be in for another week. The bill is going to run into thousands but she needs the treatment else she will die. Please can you help with a donation...doesnt matter how small. It all helps. Please help this very sick little girl.

Payment can be made to:
South Coast SBT Rescue, PO Box 149, Rottingdean, Brighton, BN51 9DU.
or call Gina on 07921 227323 (please leave a message and I will call you back) for details on how to make a payment directly to the vets

Tan/White Boxer/SBT X   Female 12-18months     Available fm 25.5.09

Good bodily condition. Good with people, some dogs but not good with cats!! Does sit, down, gives paw and stays. Loves treats, squeekies and catches a ball. Pretty girl - calm natured - very loving and enjoys belly rubs and a game. Would benefit from some refresher training - she knows the basics but needs reminding she responds well to training though and should be easy to train.
