| Cookie came to us aged around 4 months old and is now around 2 years old. She is a neutered female and is quite a lively girl. She is nervous of small children (due to lack of exposure to them) and so is better not homed with them but she is fine with older (bigger) children. Like Chuck, Cookie has spent way too much of her life institutionalised in the shelter and is nervous of new situations, busy traffic etc (Chuck is definitely the more placid of the two). Cookie is a lovely, amusing dog and I really wish I could get her out in to the world where she can start learning what life is really all about. She ideally needs to be homed somewhere with fit, active people or with a large garden so that she can let off steam.
I think Cookie is a podenco cross but she does look very like a rough coated Viszla.
