Ronny is a lovely boy

This handsome chap is Ronny, he has a smart black and tan silky coat and he is of medium to large build standing at 69 cms to shoulder and length 60cm , weighing 24.8kgs. Ronny is a very confident boy with a lovely character, but quite dominant with other dogs so we feel he would be better in a home as an only dog or with a bitch. He is a very quick learner and will need boundaries and a dog savvy owner as he has quite a strong inquisitive character, but with the right owner and in the right home he will make a perfect and loyal companion .
He is such a sociable boy with a wonderful shiny black and tan coat and he is fine with the children who help their Mums in the refuge.
He walks well on a lead and enjoys being taken out and is well behaved

Breed : Cross Breed
Age : 2 years

Ronny is a beautiful dog who was found in Spain after being abandoned and thrown out to fend for himself. He is lucky to be alive, as at the age of 4 months when we found him had already known human cruelty.

He is safe with the Spanish Rescue now, but as with most young dogs he needs a home as soon as possible, we don’t want him to spend the rest of his life with them. He needs to be with someone who can train him and teach him commands as he is very eager to learn new things – look on him as a blank canvass ready to learn new things.

We dont know about cats but we can test for them
We think older children will be fine over the age of 12 years

For Dogs coming from Spain and Portugal
This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering , parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from Spain or Portugal to people who work, even part time. They need someone at home all day, they are not used to being alone, so even a couple of hours broken with a dog walker will be too much for them to cope with. They are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Adoption Fee : £275 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
