This cute little girl is Ruby and she has a black and tan, smooth coat and although a puppy still we think that she will grown no larger.
Ruby was homed to a family in May, at 4 months old and now their circumstances have changed and Ruby is being left too long on her own and needs some extra attention and love.
She’s good on the lead and has brilliant recall. She likes other dogs and cats and is living with children now but we think she would prefer older children over 12 years.

We are looking for a home where people are in and have the time to spend with her development.

Her Best Points :

Comical, lively and obedient.

Foster Report

Ruby is settling in well with us here. She has been sleeping in a bed in the hallway.

Ruby loves playing with ropes and has lots of energy. She is able to walk on the lead but sometimes pulls on it – we are trying to work on this at the minute.

She loves running around the garden. I believe she needs to go to a home where they are in for the majority of the day. She has not got an aggressive bone in her body.

Ruby is so obedient – understands basic commands and comes back when you call her. She likes rough play and is strong.

She could potentially benefit from being in a home with another dog as she attempts to play with them when we are walking. She is so loving but is scared of most things.

She is wary of new people when she first meets them but is getting along with my partner.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have bee vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
