Rush loves ear rubs

Lovely calm Rush is a German Pointer lad with a dark chocolate silky coat.
Rush stands at 57cm high and weighs 20 kg. He particularly likes to be fussed and spend time with people getting ear rubs.
He can live with other dogs and is sociable when he isn’t unhappy at being kept in the kennels.
Its a shame to see him stressed as he needs a loving home for fuss and some attention, maybe something he has never had.
He is still being assessed for walking on a lead etc and we will update as we learn more.

Breed : Pointer
Age : 5 years

Rush isn’t coping very well in the shelter. Although he is in an open compound with other dogs, he paces because he is a bit stressed. He is quite nervous, but once he comes to you, he’s happy to be stroked and get cuddles.

Poor Rush has probably never been shown any love. He is such a lovely dog who has probably been used for hunting and then been discarded. If you think you might be interested and would like more photos or a video we can send you more.

Rush did not show any interest in a cat.

We think he would be better with older children over the age of 12 years because he will have no experience with children.
