Scooby is a lovely gentle boy

This beautiful white and light tan boy with wonderful ears is Scooby! He is a small boy standing at approximately 40 cm to shoulder and is so very sweet – always wanting to have lots of fuss and attention. He won’t take up very much room on anyone’s sofa, and would repay you in his love every day for giving him a safe warm place to live and we know there is a lucky family out there waiting to give this little boy a home.

Breed : small Podenco x
Age :18 months

Scooby has been cat tested, and as shown in video is a little bit of a “scaredy cat”. If homed with a cat, you will still need to do careful introductions. He can be introduced to children who visit the refuge.

Since he has been with the Spanish rescue he has slowly started to put on a little weight, but would benefit from food in good quantities in a home of his own.

His bags are packed and he is ready to travel – just say the word!

SCOOBY – was found in a Spanish town in October 2016 emaciated and starving, and very frightened .

He has learnt to live in a pack and gets on well with all the other dogs – and although still a little shy, he is loving and affectionate. He is a real gentle and kind little dog, who will make a great family pet.

For Dogs coming from Spain
This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from Spain or Portugal to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Adoption Fee : £ 295 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
