Lovely sweet Venus is a five year old tan SBT girl, weighing 23.6kg, with a tan soft coat and lovely temperament towards humans and other dogs.
She arrived at the pound with her sister Serena who has the same colouring but slightly smaller and they are best of friends and kennelled together.
Venus is a bit more boisterous and she gets excited to be out of the kennel so staff are giving her a bit of work on the lead. Because they are always together, they seem to get put in the park a lot for a mooch, but when taken out on lead, they were very well behaved around other dogs
Venus is a lovely girl and she knows quite a few commands already.
You can see both girls walking together with another dog on the video and both are non reactive.
Poor girls had been abandoned together and they get comfort from being kenneled together, but if they get home offers they can be split
Venus just loves her walks and just wants love and fuss from everyone she meets – typical Stafford.
She can live with children over 10 years old and other gentle placid dogs.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
