Stan is a very handsome tan and white Podenco cross, and he looks a bit like a beagle too.
He is medium size and he stands at 49 cms to shoulder.
Stan is a very friendly, sociable and loving dog that is obviously house trained and socialised, and used to living in a home.
He is very obedient boy who is always happy to please and can be off lead in areas where there are no goats or sheep!!
Ideally he needs a family who have no other dogs or just one established dog in the home already, and he is not so keen on cats so if he can find a home like this, then his family here will be very happy and so will STAN.
He is full vaccinated and neutered and will make someone a lovely pet and faithful companion as he has a lot of love to give!
Breed : Podenco cross
Age : 4 years
He is at present living here with a family, but due to a change in circumstances with health issues, they can no longer keep him.
He has been with them ever since they rescued him when he was found abandoned, wandering along in the town, and rather than ask us to help then and bring him to the refuge, they decided to take him home, so the decision to find a new family has not been take lightly. He will stay with them now until we can find one for him.
Stan dosnt like cats and he would be much happier living in a home where he is the only dog so he can have all the fuss and cuddles to himself.
Fosterer’s report :
Stan is a nice boy and he can be a bit overbearing with the other dogs here – they all tolerate his cheeky ways but he likes to have one to one with me to get all the cuddles.
