This young stunner is Sultan and he is a typical handsome tan and white Podenco lad.
Pods come in a few sizes and this boy is one of the larger of the breed standing medium to large.
Poor baby has had a dreadful life so far – and now he is safe in the rescue care he is learning to live a proper life and be cuddled and treated well.
When he came, in he was terrified because he had spent his time from a puppy being chained to an old rusty shed with no cover from sunlight and pelting rain. He was frightened of normal everyday activities and people. But with a lot of love and attention he is now, after only a very short time,a wonderful and happy dog. He is happy to see you when you go into his kennel and loves to cuddle withvyou or gives you cuddles and big kisses.
He is good with other dogs and loves to run and play with them. Sultan is good on the lead but because everything is new for this boy hr is still learning a lot. He is a super friendly boy and can live with other dogs but not cat tested. We think he would like another dog to live with and children over 10 please.

His Best Points :

Timid, Gentle, playful. Walks well on a lead.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
