Jessie and Jackie want to stay together

JESSIE  (white and grey girl) & JACKIE (black boy)
Two little cute dogs that love each other and need to stay as a pair
Pretty little Jessie has a long wirey coat and weighs just 6.5 kg and is 8 years old and her little pal is Jackie and he has a black silky coat and weighs just 5.2 kg and he is 7 years old.
This pair of dogs are very dependant on each other, they suffer a lot if they are separated, so we want to home them together. They are very calm and well-behaved. They are fostered in a flat, and they are housetrained plus they live with cats without a problem.
Breed : Yorkie x type and JRT type
Age : 8 years and 7 years
Story: His owner took them to the pound in Spain, he didn’t want them anymore, and left them tied with a string to a rubbish bin outside the pound.
A pound worker found them next morning; they had spent the whole night like that and were very scared (you can see it in one of the pics). They were microchipped, the owner was contacted and he said he didn’t want to know anything about them.
They were fostered immediately.
Fosterer’s report :

Their foster mum says they are very good at home, they don’t cause any mess. They love napping together on their coach, they are quiet, calm and obedient. Their level of energy is low.

They are very affectionate and seek human company all the time.

They are good during walks, they don’t pull. They are healthy but changes to food gives them unsettled tummies so they eat special digestive dry food.

Dogs coming from Spain
This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from Spain to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
Adoption Fee : £ 300     – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
