Details of Yuna:

Lovely young Yuna is a 11 month old, Belgian Shepherd/Retriever mix, puppy girl with a full, lush, black coat, who was rescued as a tiny abandoned puppy. A kind person took her in to save her and now Yuna is looking for her own home but with more space than a small, cramped yard.

She is a blank canvas, with the benefit of being a fast and enthusiastic learner. She is a very intelligent young girl and she has lots of energy, and she loves lots of mental stimulation and enough space to run around to burn off some of that energy that she hasn’t been able to do before now. We think she would excel at Agility or Obedience training as she learns fast and is already sitting to command and going through the paces on a halti, to curb her enthusiasm on her walks.

This girl is brimming with life and happiness and excited to be experiencing new people and situations. She is fine with the other dogs, and loves the attention of people, her favourite carer has been putting her through daily excercises in the play pen to give her more new commands and controled situations.

At 11 months old, she is fully grown now and is a large size girl, very affectionate, and loves to play after meeting new friends
We think she is best in a home without young children or elderly because of her age and size. We think owners who are keen to bring on her training/education will be well rewarded by this bright, young, pretty dog, and people who enjoy the outdoors as Yuna isnt a couch potato. She isn’t tested for cats.

If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.

If application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.

All homechecks are now conducted virtually and will be undertaken via video call (using skype, zoom or equivalent).

We will need to meet ALL members of the family living at the address, including children.

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas:

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
