A lovely, well-trained, young, mixed-breed, medium-sized, handsome lad is Charlie. He has a glossy, black and white, short, soft coat and he is a medium-sized boy standing at only 20 inches from shoulder to paw. Charlie is castrated and he is outgoing and loves to play. He loves cuddles and praise. Charlie is 2 years old.

This lovely boy is coming out of a home and is well-trained, used to children and other dogs, plus has been with cats and he will chase but have never hurt one. Poor boy is being rehomed for owners health reasons and nothing to do with Charlie. He loves toys and is playful, clean in the house, and good on harness. He can be a bit of a slow burner with other dogs but tends to come round quite fast, he lived quite happily with 15 dogs at the rescue.

Charlie is house trained lovely affectionate boy. We are looking for a home with other friendly dogs, children over 6 years and a rural location.

Although Charlie only arrived 3 days ago, we have found he is a very easy dog to assess. He’s fitted in here very well with no anxiety at all, he just takes himself upstairs and has a snooze on the bed when he wants to chill, and he likes our own dogs. He’s excellent with everyone: children, adults, snakes, hedgehogs, cats, bearded dragons, even sugar gliders. He loves being involved and being with people and he happily goes anywhere. Is EXCELLENT in the car, sits under the tables in restaurants.

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young, then the new owners will need to ensure this is done and proof sent to us once complete. All dogs are microchipped

All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. DogwatchUk does this on your behalf so that we know that its been done.

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks which are carried out via a video call. There is now a deposit for all homechecks of £25 which is deducted from the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK (or Paypal) and covers the cost of passport, bloods, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs/taxes from Spain to the UK.
If you are adopting a UK dog then the process is still the same but there will be no bloods or passport or transport costs.
If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.
If the application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.

We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.

Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Paid to the Spanish rescue via UK bank account
