Details of Harvey and Grace.

This gorgeous pair of Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies are Harvey, the little Brindle boy standing at 48 cms, and Grace, the little white  girl, standing at 42cms. Both dogs are proper little sweethearts and are brother and sister. Their sad tale is that they were taken into the pound when small pups and left and overlooked, 8 months ago people stopped walking and caring for them and so they were starved of human interaction, until DWUK took them out 2 months ago when they were just 12 months old, and brought them to fosters in the UK! They are both now safe in loving, busy foster homes on the South East coast, waiting for their forever home, either together or split.

We can’t test for cats, so we ask for cat free homes and children over 10, even though they are used to the foster mums grandchildren who are younger. Grace and Harvey are both neutered  and vaccinated, flea and wormed.

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks.

The adoption fee is £250.00 for transport plus an adoption fee of £250.00 depending on the breed and age of the cat.  The fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK or Paypal and covers the cost of passport, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs/taxes from Spain to the UK.   There is now a deposit for all homechecks of £25 which is deducted from the adoption fee.

If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.

If application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.

All homechecks are now conducted virtually and will be undertaken via video call (using skype, zoom or equivalent).

We will need to meet ALL members of the family living at the address, including children.

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas:

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
