Gorgeous, lovely Milly is a 4 year old  GSD x Collie girl, with the traditional black and tan, lush coat. Since being rescued, and now feeling safe, she has made a fantastic transformation from a shy and timid girl. Now Milly has blossomed into a happy, affectionate and loving girl.

Milly has left her shyness behind and is now a gorgeous, happy and affectionate girl. She shares a kennel with another female with no problem and loves her time playing in the park with the other dogs. She gets on great with them all.

Milly walks beautifully on the lead, staying right beside you, and she absolutely loves people and getting lots of fuss.
Milly is a quiet and loving girl who would make an excellent companion. She has come such a long way, and it would be wonderful to see her continue building her confidence in a loving home, maybe with another friendly dog for company
Milly can live with cats and children over 9 years old, and of course, other dogs.

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young, then the new owners will need to ensure this is done and proof sent to us once complete. All dogs are microchipped

All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. DogwatchUk does this on your behalf so that we know that its been done.

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks which are carried out via a video call. There is now a deposit for all homechecks of £25 which is deducted from the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK (or Paypal) and covers the cost of passport, bloods, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs/taxes from Spain to the UK.
If you are adopting a UK dog then the process is still the same but there will be no bloods or passport or transport costs.
If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.
If the application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.
Our checker will be given your details to contact you. All homechecks are now conducted virtually and will be undertaken via video call (using skype, zoom or equivalent).
We will need to meet ALL members of the family living at the address, including children.
Proof of ID and landlord permission (if applicable) is required
This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.

We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.

Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Paid to the Spanish rescue via UK bank account
