Gorgeous, liver-dappled, German Pointer young boy. Teddy has a soft, short, glossy coat and a wonderful friendly character.

He loves to play with the other dogs and is first in the line for fuss. He walks well on lead. Teddy has grown to medium height and we think he would like a friend to live with . Not tested with cats.

His Best Points :
Fast learner and eager to please, with affectionate character.

Foster Report
He has been around children, aged 2yrs up, he’s certainly been fine around her, we’ve had no issues. We’ve no cats in the family settings so he’s only seen them whilst on his lead when we’ve been out on a walk, so we would say no to cats as we cant be sure

He’s quite exuberant when he meets other family members and friends, very affectionate and licky, he’s obedient to a point, like waiting for his food or waiting to cross the road, we were doing ok with recall but he is too keen on what’s going on around him to come back so we would say lots more practice in this skill till he can be trusted to come back.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to be activated from the link on our website

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
