Beautiful Podengo  x puppy litter; 3 males and 2 females. All gorgeous, loving pups.
Lucky pups were saved and all went into a foster home, where they are all still living together and need to be homed to their forever homes asap.

Teddy male 17 kg weight 54 cm height.
He has a lot of Labrador traits, very playful can be a bit clumsy, food motivated, easy to train and loving. Foster says he’s a well rounded boy.

Oscar male 15 kg weight, 54 height.
Oscar is a little nervous and not totally  confident of new experiences, but he is good with traffic. Oscar needs a little more human reassurances and he’s very affectionate. He is good on the lead and responsive. He will definately need a friend to live with.

Harvey male 17kg weight 54 height.
The odd pup out with his coat colour, and foster says he’s lovely but not as bright as some of the others. He’s the funny one of the litter and makes you laugh, the goofy one who loves his exercise and walkies. Loves to play and jump up, we think he would suit an active family.

Ursula female 10 kg weight 48 height.
Smaller than her male siblings and very smart, housetrained alert and likes to be busy. Very affectionate. Ok with cats, as long as they dont run. Loves other dogs.

Clara female 10 kg weight 46 cm height, The smallest of the litter. She is very intelligent, food motivated (so easy to train).

All not really tested with cats.
All would love to live with another friendly dog.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped
All new owners can apply for 4 weeks Pet Insurance  FREE, to apply please ask us for the pamphlet, our charity reference number is 1400005179.

All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. This costs £17. If you would like us to arrange this for you, at a reduced rate of £7.20, we will ask you to do a bank transfer to allow us to register the change.

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
