Gorgeous Josh is a medium to large size blonde young boy who looks like a Labrador. He has a short lush coat  and he has such a lovely nature. Currently in foster in Spain, he’s the biggest dog in his group but seems fully aware of this and is so gentle when he plays with the other dogs. His little sisters adore him and always want to play with him so they bark in his face and pull his ears! He never minds and just jumps around with them.
He is also incredibly handsome and a very cuddly boy.
Josh would make such a great family pet. He would be happy with other dogs and with children over 10 years old.
We havent tested him with cats.
A home with a good sized garden will give him the freedom he needs and another friendly dog would be a bonus for him

His Best Points :
Very laid back and amenable, friendly with his pack and also comical
He’s quite a smart boy who picks up commands easily. He would really benefit from one to one training which, so far, he hasn’t had.

Josh is the calmest dog we have ever had. Never responds to aggressive play.  Quiet and gentle with nervous dogs which helps them to be much more confident

All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. DogwatchUk does this on your behalf so that we know that its been done.

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks which are carried out via a video call. There is now a deposit for all homechecks of £25 which is deducted from the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK (or Paypal) and covers the cost of passport, bloods, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs/taxes from Spain to the UK.
If you are adopting a UK dog then the process is still the same but there will be no bloods or passport or transport costs.
If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.
If the application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.
Our checker will be given your details to contact you. All homechecks are now conducted virtually and will be undertaken via video call (using skype, zoom or equivalent).
We will need to meet ALL members of the family living at the address, including children.

We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.

Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Paid to the Spanish rescue via UK bank account
