The very beautiful Sydney is such a lovely girl. She stands at medium height, with a short soft tan coat. She’s a mixed breed but there is Podenco in there somewhere! Sydney is a super friendly, pretty young lady with a nice personality. She is around  18 months old.

Poor girl was living on the streets of Tijola for some time, before she came into our care. She’s clearly lived in a home before as she was so friendly, very good on the lead and a very clean girl in her kennel. Sydney has now been spayed, has her passport with vaccinations and clear blood tests so is now waiting for her very own home.

Sydney gets on with most dogs once introduced, she seems to prefer to be around calmer dogs but she really loves being around people, she’s a medium sized mixed breed girl 23kg.

We are looking for a family with or without other dogs and children over 10 years old. We can test her for cats if required.

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young, then the new owners will need to ensure this is done and proof sent to us once complete. All dogs are microchipped

All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. DogwatchUk does this on your behalf so that we know that its been done.

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks which are carried out via a video call. There is now a deposit for all homechecks of £25 which is deducted from the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK (or Paypal) and covers the cost of passport, bloods, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs/taxes from Spain to the UK.
If you are adopting a UK dog then the process is still the same but there will be no bloods or passport or transport costs.
If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.
If the application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.
Our checker will be given your details to contact you. All homechecks are now conducted virtually and will be undertaken via video call (using skype, zoom or equivalent).
We will need to meet ALL members of the family living at the address, including children.
Proof of ID and landlord permission (if applicable) is required
This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including

We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.

Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Paid to the Spanish rescue via UK bank account
