Clementine is a super-friendly, 4/5 year old, Stafford cross lady, with an attractive, dark brindle and white coat. She is a wonderful girl, who just adores people. She loves to lick and cuddle and has such a trusting and very nice nature towards people and other dogs. Celementine is super social and positive and loves the whole world. Which is very surprising if you look at the video and the state she was in when saved. Someone left her like this and no one helped her for a while until the rescue took pity on her.
Clementine came to us a starving dog with a bad infection. Our vet warned us that she was unlikely to survive, but with lots of love and local free-range chicken- survive she did. In fact, she has thrived and is now a bundle of happiness and joy. Once safe in rescue, Clementine loved the open space to run around and have zoomies. We think she may have come from someone that had an apartment and didn’t walk her, as she just wasn’t used to open space. Now she has learnt to walk lovely on a lead.
Clementine loves being with other dogs, her best friend is a little podenco called Sydney who she shares her bed with. We have spoilt her a little and she could probably do with losing a few pounds. We call her ‘pudding’ as she looks like a Christmas pudding with cream on the top!
Poor Clementine, all this has happened to her and it’s not her fault. She is such a loving, happy dog and would make an ideal family pet. Clementine really is a special girl that has endured so much in her life. She has overcome everything and is now such a joy with the most unbelievable amount of love for anyone she comes into contact with.
We are looking for a family with or without another friendly dog for Clementine to play with and children no younger than 10 years, as she can be a bit clumsy. Would suit a normal family home, not out all day, with NO cats.

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks which are carried out via a video call. There is now a deposit for all homechecks of £25 which is deducted from the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK (or Paypal) and covers the cost of passport, bloods, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs/taxes from Spain to the UK.
If you are adopting a UK dog then the process is still the same but there will be no bloods or passport or transport costs.
If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.
If the application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.

We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
